Some quick tip to remember about planning your beach wedding:

Facilities book up early, so don't waste time or you may not get the location you want. If you are planning on an outdoor ceremony, be sure to have a secondary rain location in mind. If you are planning a beach ceremony in Currituck County, there is no written permit required, but you'll need to adhere to a number of regulations.
Keep your wedding location in mind when choosing footwear; high heeled shoes may not be the best choice if attendants are walking on the beach or in soft grass. Guests who are elderly or disabled may have difficulty. Be aware, there are no wheelchair accessible beaches in Currituck County.
If you choose a beach location, be sure you are near a public parking lot or select a vacation home with an adequate driveway. Currituck Heritage Park, inns and hotels, churches, restaurants, and other typical wedding locations should have sufficient parking.
